HIGHLAND VALLEY OUTDOOR ASSOCIATION LOCATION
Logan Lake is located between Merritt and Kamloops and situated on a high plateau surrounded by picturesque views of rolling hills, grasslands and lakes.
Driving to Logan Lake is less than 4 hours from Vancouver and 40 minutes from Kamloops.
From Vancouver take Highway 1 to Hope then at Hope you can choose one of the following routes:
- Highway 5 which crosses the top of the Coastal Mountains reaching elevations of 1,244 metres before gradually descending into Merritt. Take Highway 97C to Logan Lake after passing through downtown Merritt.
- Highway 1 Eastbound which winds along the equally dramatic Fraser Canyon and through the Thompson Valley to Ashcroft where Highway 97D connects to Logan Lake.
From Kamloops drive 60 Km south via the Coquihalla Highway to the Logan Lake junction (Exit 336) then travel along Highway 97D to Logan Lake.
High mountain living comes with above average sunny days that are perfect for various outdoor activities. With blue skies, fresh air and the abundance of wildlife our area is a photographers and outdoor enthusiast paradise. Our community enjoys cross country skiing, snow shoeing and ice fishing in the winter and hiking, horseback riding, mountain biking and a stocked trophy fishing lake in the summer.
